cell group was great.
it was definately worth going for.
so let me share my experiences with u.
before i head off to the marriage builder course later.
Exodus 15:22-27 talks about moses leading the israelites out of egypt, or rather, just a part of it. its from marah to elim.
marah is a land of bitterness, where the water there was bitter, but moses put up with the whining and complains. we must be like that, putting up with everything, so that we can be a better person and learn from it. cast all your burdens to God, he will take care of the complaining. bring everything to God and let him settle it.
elim is a place filled with fullness, where there are 7 sprins and 80 palm trees (if i remembered correctly). sorry. but wat a nice place it would be..

3 facts about life you shld not miss.
1) Great successes in life are often followed by failure.
Marah, means bitter; which symbolises the bitter experiences we face in our life.
we normally ask ourself. why does God want to lead us to Marah?
v25 says that God, uses bitter experiences to test us, so that our actual character can be surfaced. these experiences are commonly known to us as the trials and tribulations in our life. Therefore bible tells us to count the TnT as joy.
we can say that a person's character is judged by how he/she handles his/her problems in life.
2) Great services in life are often followed by forgetfulness.
one thing we must know and remember is that - people have short term memory.
How to handle ur disappointments in life.
a) dont curse it
dont retaliate
dont seek revenge
dont strike back
if you dont fight for yourself, God wont fight for you
leave everything to God.
b) dont rehearse it
c) dont nurse it
d) but, disperse it!
e) let Got reverse it!
God allows bad experiences to come into your life so that you can be a better person.
God will not giv us bad experience which we cannot handle. so we can definately handle all the bad experiences in life. if we seek God.
the solution to our problem is always somewhere near.

thats pretty short, and it was just around the corner.
let me give u another example.
there was a plane that crashed onto this deserted island. the people there got so hungry that they fed on the dead people.
little did they noe, just around the island was a wide scale tourist ski resort.
the answer to your problems is just around the corner. the people that got stranded on the island never bothered to search. they gave up immediately..
3) Great shortages in life are often followed by fullness!
v27 tells us not to give up, but to keep on perservering
