since 2(X - Y) = 0
2X - 2Y = 0 --- eqn 2
since rhs are the same for eqn 1 and 2,
2X - 2Y = X - Y
2 (X - Y) = (X - Y)
cancel them out
2 = 1 ???

x = 21+y (mother 21 years older than son)
in 6 years times
x+6 = 5(y+6)
sub in the top eqn
21 + y + 6 = 5y + 30
27 + y = 5y + 30
therefore
27 - 30 = 5y - y
-3 = 4y
y = -3/4
but -3/4 of wat??!!!
